Join us for food and wine and share a smile with one of our favorite culinary authors, Chef Rebecca Lang!
Rebecca is a Chef and Cookbook Author that has appeared as a judge on the Food Network, cooked at the James Beard House and has been featured in numerous televised Southern Living productions and periodicals. She has degrees in Journalism from the University of Georgia and Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University. She has written seven cookbooks and an entertainment book, Y'all Come Over.
We're thrilled to have Chef Rebecca Lang at Athens Cooks for a Friday Happy Hour Meet and Greet. Rebecca will demo a recipe great for any tailgate or holiday party from The Southern Vegetable Book. She'll share culinary stories, have cookbooks on-hand and you'll get to hear what she has upcoming in her culinary world. Her cookbooks will be on-hand for purchasing with personalized autographs. These books are perfect gifts with "Southern Flair" for hosts, brides, and cookbook aficionados. We'll welcome you with a glass of wine and you'll sample her Fancy Pimento Cheese on Independent Bread and Blue Cheese Wafers. Then, we'll end the evening with a sampling her delicious Coca Cola Cake.
