Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 business day (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. During the holidays, we will post on our web site the last day to place orders so that they can be received timely.

All orders received during periods when we are closed will be shipped out on the day we reopen. 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

For orders over $199, we offer free standard shipping. 


In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our store: 100 Prince Avenue, Athens, Georgia 30601. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 4 hours. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Pickups are available whenever we are open to the public. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

International Shipping

At this time we do not offer international shipping. 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within the expected delivery window set forth in your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@athenscooks.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

 UPS will not ship to P.O. boxes.  Please choose USPS at checkout or contact us to arrange pickup.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges 

We generally accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. Sale items, seasonal items and certain perishable items may not be returned unless defective or spoiled upon arrival. Please see our full return policy here.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@athenscooks.com or call us ‭at ‭(706) 623-3373‬. We address these on a case-by-case basis and will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
