  • Handwash with warm, soapy water after each use and dry thoroughly with a towel.
  • Never soak or submerge in water; do not run in a dishwasher or use in a microwave.
  • Avoid placing hot pots or pans on the rack to prevent lasting burn marks.
  • Apply JK Adams Mineral Oil and/or Beeswax Wood Conditioner weekly with a lint-free cloth to all surfaces, including edges and ends, until the finish is established. Reapply whenever the wood feels dry.
  • If the grain becomes raised and feels rough, lightly buff the area with 200-grit sandpaper and reapply wood conditioner afterward.
  • Maple is a forgiving hardwood, but grain variation is to be expected; conditioners should be used whenever the product feels dry.
