ABOUT EXECUTIVE CHEF MEGAN ALLEN:
A native of Ontario, Canada, Megan Bearden has honed her craft in the Atlanta area for over a decade. First developing her foundation for baking and pastry fundamentals at Canvas Bakery in Marietta, Ga and then a brief stint decorating cakes in Washington DC, Megan came into her own with the conceptualization of her first full pastry program at 7acre in Milton, Ga and later at their sister establishment, Theo Brother Bakery. There she focused on the intricacies and lore laced with nostalgia that is pie and cake baking in the south all the while sourcing from the abundant local bounty that North Georgia has to offer. Megan moved to Athens in July and joined Athens Cooks as its Executive Chef in November, 2024.
