Dishwasher Safe: Yes, it is dishwasher safe. Important Dishwasher Note: Before placing the Vault in the dishwasher, any writing on the polished ends must be removed with a scrubbing sponge and soapy water. If writing is left on, the heat from the dishwasher will permanently bake the ink into the sides, branding the Vault. Hand Washing: Alternatively, it can be hand-washed by scrubbing out cheese crumbs with a sturdy brush, using a scrubbing sponge and soapy water to remove writing, and then air drying it upside down.
