A whole roasted fish makes a lovely centerpiece, provided the pan gives it enough room. Smithey's oval Fish Skillet is shaped for trout, snapper and salmon fillets, with space for long vegetables such as asparagus, carrots and green beans. Bring it from the flame or oven to the table and let supper speak for itself.

The pre-seasoned carbon steel pan is hand-forged by blacksmiths in Charleston, South Carolina, USA. We like the long cooking surface for ingredients that do not fit neatly into a round skillet. Its forged finish will develop character with cooking and straightforward cast iron-style care. Pick up a fresh fish, add a few seasonal vegetables, and make an evening of it.

Hand-forged carbon steel rewards regular cooking and simple care. Smithey recommends caring for it much like cast iron.
