Hand wash in hot, soapy water immediately after use. Do NOT soak in water for extended periods. Never put in the dishwasher (this can cause discoloration, dullness, and eventually cracking or warping). After washing, wipe off excess water and allow to air dry thoroughly. Oil liberally with a food-safe mineral oil (like Earlywood's wood conditioner) when the wood starts to look dry. Oiling helps repel water, prevent drying out, and maintain the wood's condition and appearance. Let oil soak in for a few hours or overnight, then wipe off any excess.
