Fondue is the perfect communal activity for a big family weekend dinner or a fun party with friends. The Ruffoni 4-piece Fondue Michelle Set allows you to create oil-based or broth-based fondues at the table in true European style. It’s also ideal for a Chinese hot pot or a Japanese-style shabu-shabu. The copper collar prevents splatters, while the chromed burner allows for easy flame adjustment.

The beautifully hand-hammered, tin-lined copper pot doubles as a normal saucepot on your gas stove and in the oven. This set includes a decorative iron stand and a convenient gel fuel holder. For added versatility, the porcelain insert is perfect for making cheese and chocolate fondues as well!

  • Ideal Use: Perfect for oil and broth fondues; includes a porcelain insert for cheese and chocolate.
  • Material: Crafted from solid, hammered copper for unparalleled heat conductivity.
  • Interior: Tin-lined by hand over fire for low-stick cooking.
  • Handles and Knob: Solid bronze handles with a matching knob.
  • Oven Safe: Yes, up to 430°F (220°C).
  • Stovetop: Best used on gas stovetops; not suitable for induction.
  • Lid: Not included.

Weight: 4.6 lb

Volume: 2.3 qt

Dimensions: Diameter: 6.25 inches Height: 9 inches (including stand)

  • Cooking: Recommended for gas stovetops, open flames (wood, charcoal, barbecue), and in the oven. Electric cooktops are also possible. Never heat the pot empty, and do not exceed 430°F (220°C). Bronze handles will get hot; always use pot holders.
  • Washing & Polishing: Hand-wash with a soft sponge and mild detergent, then dry immediately with a soft cloth. Copper develops a rich patina over time; to restore shine, use a copper polish or a mixture of salt with lemon juice/vinegar.
  • Tin Care: Tin may discolor over time but remains effective. Depending on use, the tin lining may eventually wear off and require retinning. Avoid metal tools, overheating, and limit the use of acidic ingredients to prolong the tin lining's life.
