Naïma and David Didon are independent-minded winemakers who found each other at what their US importer calls 'a serendipitous moment,' each having pursued a fiercely individual path before settling their estate in Chassey-le-Camp, on the northern edges of the Côte Châlonnaise. Their Bourgogne Gamay draws from old vines — producing something uncommonly deep and structured for the appellation — with pure, fresh fruit, mineral tension, and the kind of easy-drinking character that makes a bottle disappear over a long lunch. Serve slightly chilled.
