Handwash with warm, soapy water after each use, and dry thoroughly with a towel. Never soak or submerge in water, run in a dishwasher, or use in a microwave. Avoid placing hot pots or pans on the board to prevent burn marks. Apply JK Adams Mineral Oil and/or Beeswax Wood Conditioner once a week using a lint-free cloth until the finish is established; reapply as needed. If the grain raises and feels rough, lightly buff the area with 200-grit sandpaper, then reapply wood conditioner.
