Hand wash lid and canister with warm, soapy water. Ensure all salt is washed away from any metal parts, as salt is very corrosive. The tub easily wipes clean. Not dishwasher safe. Avoid using harsh or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the drain hole on the side of the tub remains open to prevent salty water from entering the ice cream.
