Garnacha Blanca 2024
Garnacha Blanca is one of Spain's most undersung white grapes — thick-skinned, late-ripening, and capable of producing wines with serious texture and complexity in the right hands. Navarra, just south of the Pyrenees, is one of the grape's strongholds, where high-elevation vineyards and cool northern winds keep the acidity lively and the aromatics fresh.
This 2024 is sourced from multiple plots within the cooler, higher-altitude zones of the appellation, hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts. A brief period of skin contact before pressing gives the wine a subtle phenolic grip, and time resting on the lees adds body and a creamy, almost waxy mouthfeel. The result is a white with real presence: aromas of ripe white peach, honeysuckle, chamomile, and a hint of mineral stone. Medium to full-bodied, with rounded acidity and a long, textured finish.
Pairs beautifully with grilled white fish, roast pork tenderloin, creamy pasta, or aged Manchego. A white for people who usually reach for red. DO Navarra, Spain. 2024.
