Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir 2023
Named for the founder who planted the first vines here in 1988, Brooks has become one of the clearest voices for Pinot Noir in the Eola-Amity Hills. The AVA's signature is the Van Duzer Corridor — a gap in the Coast Range that funnels cool Pacific air through the vineyards, pushing ripening later and keeping acidity sharp. The 2023 is red-fruit forward and immediately inviting: pomegranate, red currant, and bright strawberry with a cinnamon-spice finish that lingers. 93 points, James Suckling. Around 1,000 cases made.
