Immerse yourself in the exotic flavors of Thailand with Chef Alejandro Ortiz of Pinta Kitchen, in our "Taste of Thailand" evening at Athens Cooks. This unique class is a journey through the aromatic and vibrant world of Thai cuisine, paired with select wines to elevate each dish.

Our culinary adventure starts with the soothing and flavorful "Tom Kha," a classic Thai soup known for its rich coconut milk base and fragrant herbs. Chef Alejandro will guide you through balancing the delicate flavors of lemongrass, galangal, and kaffir lime leaves to create this comforting dish.

Next on the menu is "Laarb," a zesty and herbaceous salad, which you can choose to prepare with either beef or chicken. This dish is a staple in Thai cuisine, celebrated for its combination of fresh herbs, lime juice, and fish sauce that create a harmonious blend of tangy, spicy, and savory flavors.

A simple yet essential steamed Jasmine rice will accompany our main dishes, providing the perfect base to soak up the rich flavors of Thai cooking.

The evening’s food will be thoughtfully paired with wines, selected by Chef Alejandro to complement the unique flavors of Thai cuisine.
