Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate some morning sun. Avoid harsh, direct afternoon sun. Watering: Water thoroughly when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. As it's a jungle cactus, it needs more water than desert cacti, but still hates soggy feet. Humidity: Appreciates moderate to high humidity. Temperature: Prefers average room temperatures (65-80°F / 18-27°C). Avoid temperatures below 50°F (10°C). Soil: Requires well-draining, airy potting mix, similar to an orchid mix or a cactus mix with added perlite/bark. Toxicity: Non-toxic to pets and humans.
