  • To soften brown sugar: Soak the terracotta disc in clean warm water for a few minutes (or 15-20 minutes) until it is fully saturated. Remove from water, pat dry, and then place it in your brown sugar container.
  • Cleaning: Dishwasher safe (use little to no soap, or rinse clean and pat dry, as terracotta is absorbent). Can also be hand washed.
  • Maintenance: Can be used repeatedly. Replace if it becomes cracked or damaged.
  • Important Note: Do not use for salt if trying to keep salt dry, as its purpose is to release moisture.
