Handwash with warm, soapy water after each use and dry thoroughly with a towel. Never soak or submerge in water; do not run in a dishwasher or use in a microwave. Avoid placing hot pots or pans on the bowl to prevent burn marks. Apply JK Adams Mineral Oil and/or Beeswax Wood Conditioner weekly with a lint-free cloth to maintain the finish. If the grain becomes raised and feels rough, lightly buff the area with 200-grit sandpaper and reapply wood conditioner afterward. Maple is a forgiving hardwood; some grain variation is to be expected.
