Trim wick to 1/4 inch before each lighting to ensure a clean, even burn and prevent tunneling. Allow the candle to burn long enough (e.g., 2-3 hours) for the melt pool to reach the outer edges of the candle, especially during the first burn. This prevents tunneling and maximizes burn time.
