"Oktoberfest Beer Dinner!" Cooking with Beer with Mark Crouch, Operations Manager/Trade Brewer at Terrapin Brewery and Tap Room Atlanta, Tuesday, October 3, 6:00-8:30pm

We're so excited to announce our first beer dinner at Athens Cooks! Your host will be Mark Crouch, Certified Cicerone and Commercial Operations Manager for Terrapin Beer Company's small pilot brewery located inside Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves. Mark's wife, Rachel  is a personal chef in the Atlanta area. Together, they are bringing you an incredible German feast cooked and paired with Terrapin beers brewed in Athens and some you can get only at the Tap Room in ATL.

People that know Mark call him the "Professor of Beer" and he's here to share his knowledge with you. Some of the food items will be demonstration, some served, and there will also be some hands-on cooking. Mark will also have Terrapin give aways and you'll go home with a special gift from him. 

This will be a beer dinner to remember! Here's what's on the menu.

Apps- Served 

Soft German Pretzels with Beer Cheese Dip Paired with Terrapin Los Bravos Mexican Lager (you'll learn why in the class!)

Salad Course- Hands-on 

Wilted Spinach with Warm Bacon Dressing (we'll leave out the bacon if you're vegetarian) paired with Terrapin Brew Lab Munich Helles

Main Entrée- Partial Hands-on 

Schweinshaxe with Beer Gravy (Crispy Pork Shank in Beer Gravy) paired with Terrapin Oktoberfest 

Schnupfnudel (German Potato Noodles with Sauerkraut and Mushrooms) paired with Terrapin Love is Love Hefewiezen- This is the main dish if you're vegetarian and a side dish for the pork shank.

Dessert- Demonstration

Pumpkin Beer Bread paired with Terrapin Pumpkin Fest 

ALL this and you'll get a special food gift from Terrapin at the end of the evening along with all of the recipes Mark and Rachel have cooked throughout the evening.
