"Chinese Take-Out with Chef Alejandro Ortiz," Saturday, December 9, 6pm-8pm

Chef Alejandro Ortiz is going back in time to 1983 to one of the classics, A Christmas Story, and teaching a class on Chinese Take-Out. Just like in the movie, there's no better time than the holidays to break away from the norm and enjoy all the delicious spices and savory bites from China with family and friends. 

In 2008, Chef Alejandro was involved in the opening of Aman at the Summer Palace in Beijing (luxury hotel.) While there, he found himself bonding with the staff of the hotel’s traditional Chinese restaurant. It was quite a learning experience and we have him HERE at Athens Cooks to share his culinary expertise.

This time he'll be teaching you how to make Egg Rolls (Chef demo), Orange Chicken, Fried Rice and we'll end the evening with a chocolate drizzled fortune cookie. Chef always pairs his dishes with glass of one of his own imported bubbles and a delicious glass of wine to go along with your entrée.
